Neurological rehabilitation aims to help those with neurological injuries or disorders to regain or improve their physical, cognitive and functional abilities. We specialise in conditions that affect the nervous system, including the brain and spinal cord.

Such conditions include stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis (MS), Parkinson's disease, neuromuscular disorders and dementia syndromes. 

While we specialise in neurological conditions, we provide assessment and interventions for all adults with cognitive or physical conditions to improve their quality of life.

Meet Our Team

Sharna Bailey

DIRECTOR SENIOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Sharna is an advanced Occupational Therapist with over a decade of clinical experience working in rural and metropolitan centers in Queensland, as well as internationally in the United Kingdom. Sharna specialises in Occupational Therapy interventions for Neurological conditions, completing Postgraduate qualification in Neurological Rehabilitation. Sharna’s clinical experience includes acute hospital care, inpatient, outpatient and community neurological rehabilitation, developmental pediatrics, home modifications, equipment prescription and NDIS assessments. Sharna is also a registered Occupational Therapy Driving instructor.

Sharna has a special interest in Neurological conditions including acquired brain injury and neurodegenerative conditions and is passionate about using her clinical expertise to assist clients to achieve their goals and mentor fellow Occupational Therapists.
